An acid that is produced when some sugar particles are chemically reacted with bacteria present in our mouth this leads to demineralization.

    Explanation:

Harmful bacteria in our mouth produce acids whenever they react with sugar content in your mouth. This results removal of minerals from our tooth enamel. This chemical reaction is called demineralization. Saliva neutralizes constantly acid in your mouth to protect your teeth. If you eat too much acidic food and drink and don't properly brush your teeth. The outer layer of enamel will be degraded over time if we consume more sugary, sticky foods and beverages.
