A less-massive object is moving in the same direction as a more-massive object, but with a higher speed. They experience an inelastic collision. Describe the speed of the more-massive object after the collision.

    The speed of the more-massive will be the same as that of the less-massive body and speed of the more-massive after collision is also increased.

    Explanation:

    In an inelastic collision, the the two objects move together after collision and momentum is conserved hence the speed of the more - massive will be the same as that of the less-massive body and because momentum is conserved the speed of the more-massive after collision is increased while that of the less-massive body is decreased.
