    v = 5.6 m/s

    Explanation:

    Given,

    The mass of the car, m = 1500 kg

    The kinetic energy of the car, K. E = 23,500 J

    The kinetic energy of the of an object is given by the relation,

    K. E = ½ mv²

    Substituting the given values in the equation,

    23,500 = ½ x 1500 x v²

    v² = 23500 / 750

    = 31.33

    v = 5.6 m/s

    Hence, the K. E of the car is, v = 5.6 m/s
