There are three major theories to define how our natural satellite was created. The following draws a unique concept of creation of moon:

Theories for the formation of Earth's Moon
After the creation of the Sun, other dust and gaseous bodies started taking form while rotating around the Sun. These bodies started rotating in their particular orbits. just after these gaseous and dust bodies were formed.
The other small bodies floating near them, began to collide with giant ones and thus small satellites were born that began rotating around their giant bodies i; e., planets being influenced by their gravitational force. this is known as the Giant Impact Theory.
