    Explanation:

    The protons are positively charged in nature.

    So, they always tends to move from positively charged plate ti negatively charged plate, as the positive charge is attracted by the negative charge.

    A positive charged plate ha high potential and a negatively charged plate has low potential, so we can say the protons always move from high potential region to low potential region.

    An electron is negatively charged particle.

    So, they move from negative plate to the positive plate a they are attracted by the positively charged plate. So they move from low potential region to high potential region.
