A stone is thrown vertically upward with an initial speed of 19.3 m/s. Neglect air resistance. The speed of the stone when it is 5.81 m higher is:

    A=-9.81

    S=5.81

    V=?

    V^2=u^2+2as

    V^2=372.49 + (2*-9.81*5.81)

    V=final speed at 5.81m=16.1 ms^-1
