    Amount paid = $2.36

    amount will paid = $148.50

    average power consumption is 208.33 W

    Explanation:

    Given data

    cost of electricity = $0.0900 per kWh

    power = 3 W

    power consume = 15.0 kW

    time = 30 days

    cost of electricity = $ 0.110 per kWh

    to find out

    cost of operating, average power consumption

    solution

    we know that

    total hour in year = 365 * 24 = 8760 hours

    and amount of electricity consumed in a year = 3W * 8760hr = 26.280 kWh

    Amount paid = 8760 hours * 3W * $0.0900

    Amount paid = $2.36

    and

    we know Amount of electricity consumed in day = 15kW * 3h/day

    Amount of electricity = 45 kWh

    so in 30 days Amount of electricity = 30 * 45 kWh = 1350 kWh

    so amount will paid = 1350 kWh * $ 0.110 per kWh

    amount will paid = $148.50

    and

    here we know average power consumption is = energy consumed / time

    so average power consumption = 5kWh / 24hr * 1000

    hence average power consumption is 208.33 W
