Tightening a screw with a larger spacing between its threads requires fewer turns of a screwdriver than tightening a screw with smaller thread spacing. What is a disadvantage of the screw with larger thread spacing?

    It requires more power to tightening.

    Explanation:

    The distance of thread spaces of a screw effects the distance of screw that turned for one turn. For instance, a screw with 1 mm thread space goes into a material for 1mm when it turn once. The more space of thread space means the more distance screw goes into a material. But at the same time it requires more force to go in. This is the disadvantage of the screw with larger thread spacing
