A bar with a length of L moves through a 0.25 T magnetic field at a speed of v. What is the magnitude of the emf across the bar? The motion is perpendicular to the field direction.

    Speed of bar = v

    The formula for the motional emf is given by

    e = B x v x L x Sinθ

    Where, e be the induced emf, v be the speed, L be the length of the conductor, θ be the angle between the velocity vector and the length vector

    Here, θ = 90 degree

    So, e = B x v x L

    e = 0.25 x v x L

    e = 0.25 v L
