What happens to an object in free fall in earths gravity?

    Depending if the object is alive it would explode because theres oxegon in the blood stream and without oxegon in the atmosphere then the living would explode. When if an object like a bballoon has oxygen in it to which means it would explode to. what I'm trying to say is that anything with oxygen would probably explode in the atmosphere which would mean that I have a hypothesis that anything else would float that doesn't have any Oxygen.

    It keeps moving in a straight line, in the direction that we call "down".

    But its speed keeps getting faster and faster. At any instant, its speed is 9.8 m/s faster than it was 1 second earlier.
