In 2018, Germans paid 1.46 Euros per liter of gasoline. At the same time, Americans price were $2.84 per gallon. Who paid more for their gas, Germans or Americans? Justify your answer with a calculation.

    Converting Euros per liter to dollars per gallon:

    1.46 Euro/liter * (1 dollar / 0.86 Euro) * (3.78 L / gallon) = $6.42 per gallon

    Germans paid more for their gas.
