In your circuit toolbox, you only have a collection of resistors (?1=100 Ω,?2=20 Ω,?3=10 Ω) and some switches that can be open or closed. Construct a circuit filling in all four boxes, such that the equivalent resistance between A and B is 8 Ω.

    This isn't possible to do if we can't see where the four boxes lie within the circuit.
