T1 relaxation is the method of returning the net magnetization (M) to its original peak value
Explanation:
T1 relaxation is the method of returning the net magnetization (M) to its original peak value (Mo) adjacent to Bo. Longitudinal relaxation, heat relaxation and spin-lattice relaxation are synonyms for T1 relaxation. The shift of stimulated nuclei to the original state from the elevated energy state is linked with heat loss to the adjacent nuclei.
