    Explanation:

    initial velocity = Vi=-27.7 m/s

    Final velocity=-10.9 m/s

    displacement=-105 m

    using kinematic equation Vf² = Vi² + 2 a d

    (-10.9) ² = (-27.7) ² + 2 a (-105)

    -648.5=-210a

    a=648.5/210

    a=3.09 m/s²
