Explanation:

When we jump on the weighing scale we carry a momentum with us due to virtue of our motion. When we come in contact with the machine it measures the force of contact that is force of impact while colliding and is much greater than our weight but once we loose all our momentum when we come to rest the machine measures weight that we have.
