Time taken by the sound is t' and time taken by the bullet is t.

Speed of sound = 340 m/s

Distance = 170 m

Time taken by the sound, t' = distance / speed of sound = 170 / 340 = 0.5 sec

time taken by the bullet, t = 0.95 - 0.5 = 0.45 sec

Speed of bullet = distance / time taken by bullet
