It's a because it doesn't matter on size Jupiter can be close to the sun and it could take shorter time the temp doesn't matter mercury is super hot but heat does nothing and the surface like b it's not

A period of revolution around the Sun for a certain planet depends on A. the distance of the planet from the Sun.

    Explanation:

The planets are in constant motion, so that they revolve around their own orbit or around the Sun. The "rotation movement" designates the movement that the planets make around their own axis (equivalent to the time of 1 day), while the "translation movement" defines the movement that the planets make around the Sun (equivalent to the time of 1 year).

Gravity is what keeps all the planets moving around the Sun. So, the duration of the year at the time of the translation of a planet depends on the distance the planet from the Sun is: the farther it is, it doesn't just travel more distance but travels slower.

So, a period of revolution around the Sun for a certain planet depends on A. the distance of the planet from the Sun.
