    Think of it like your holding one end of slinky and your friend is holding the other end.

    The slinky will represent the sound waves

    If you move further from your friend the slinky will spread out. Meaning the waves spread apart

    The sound waves in that case will be big!

    But in this case, your moving towards your friend, the the sound waves will compress and get smaller.

    Therefore, NOT spreading out.

    Leaving us with ... False!
