The current in a hair dryer measures 24 amps. The resistance of the hair dryer is 13 ohms. What is the voltage?

    Voltage = current * resistance

    voltage = 24 * 13

    voltage = 312

    V = 312 volts

    note that V = IR → (I is current and R is resistance)

    thus V = 24 * 13 = 312
