    Solution : Given,

    Formula used:

    Total pressure = Partial pressure of gas + Partial pressure of water

    Now put all the given values in this formula, we get the partial pressure of gas.

    753 torr = Partial pressure of gas + 26.74 torr

    Partial pressure of the gas = 753 - 26.74 = 726.26 torr
