A car of mass 200kg moving at a velocity of 120km/h its velocity to 60km/h in 40 second when the car hits an object

    To find the momentum before the collision, we must use the formula p=mv.

    p=200 (33.3333) m/s

    p = 6666.66 (kg*m) / s

    After colliding with the object, the vehicle has a negative acceleration of 00.4166667 m/s/s, the vehicle's momentum is p=200 (16.66667)

    p=3333.334 (kg*m) / s

    The momentum was decreased by 3333.332667 (kg*m) / s

    the resultant force is 6726.66 units (i am pretty sure that it is actually 3333.334 because it only reduces to half the original speed)
