Put 12 cans in one group and 16 cans in the other group. The reason why my answer is correct is because 3 x 4 equals 12 giving a ratio of 3. When 4 x 4 is equal to 16 giving you a ratio of one more equal to 4.

3 : 4 = 28

3+4 parts = 28

1 part = 28/7

1 part = 4

(Calculation of [3 + 4 ] is to get the [total of parts] that represent as 28 cans of soda)

Next,[ 28 should be divide by 7] (4 + 3) to get [one part] represent how many cans of soda.
