A wave is moving at 40 cm/s. Its wave length is 8 cm. what is the frequency of the wave?

    Frequency = (speed) / (wavelength)

    Frequency = (40 cm/s) / (8 cm)

    Frequency = (40/8) (/s)

    Frequency = 5 / s

    Frequency = 5 Hz
