Gas is one of the states of matter whose molecules are in free motion.

Plasma is Ionised gas and is considered as the 4th state of matter.

    Explanation:

In short, plasma is gas in the ionised state, with instabilities and electrical and magnetic behavior.

Gases are free to move in space and are said to have random motion.

The gases do not have a definite shape but will take the volume of the container in which they are contained. Gases can be compressed. Their temperature can be measured. All gas particles behave in a similar way.

A plasma can be produced by heating a gas to very high temperatures. Plasma is highly electrically conductive. In a plasma, electrons, protons, neutrons and ions can be distinguished by the value of their charge and thus behave independently. allowing instabilities.

Ionosphere of the Earth, Aurorae, solar wind are some places where plasma is detected.

A plasma is an ionized gas, a gas into which sufficient energy is provided to free electrons from atoms or molecules and to allow both species, ions and electrons to coexist, Gases can become plasma in several ways, but all include pumping the gas with energy,
