    Some bright and dark regions would be observed on the white sheet of paper because of the slits of the card.

    Explanation:

    A white surface is one that reflects all colors of light hitting it. If a colored light is used, the surface would reflect the exact color of the light. When a red light is shown on a white surface, it would reflect the color and looks red.

    A ray of light is the path through which lighr travels and it can combine to form a beam. These rays always travels in a straight path during propagation. When light passes through a card with more than a slit (a hole or opening through with the rays of light can pass), constructive interference would occur, a bright and dark regions would be formed. The bright regions are produced due to interfernce of trough-to-trough and crest-to-crest, while the dark region is produced due to interference of trough-to - crest.

    On the white sheet of paper, bright and dark regions would be observed because of the slits of the card.
