If a car starts from a stop, and hits 27 meters per second in 8 seconds, what is its acceleration?

    Hello,

    Vinitial = 0

    V final = 27 m/s

    time = 8 seg

    then

    a = Delta (V) / Delta (t),

    in other words:

    a = (27-0) / 8

    a = 27/8

    a = 3.375 m/s^2
