Which answer accurately describes the difference between speed and velocity?

Question 22 options:

Speed is the result of a change in direction. Velocity is the result of a change in acceleration.

Gravity affects speed. Gravity does not affect acceleration.

Speed only requires distance. Velocity requires direction.

Speed measures a change in inertia. Inertia remains the same in velocity.

    Speed only requires distance. Velocity requires direction.

    AS speed is scalar quantity and have only magnitude of distance covered.

    But velocity is a vector quantity. To describe completely direction is also required alongwith magnitude of distance.
