    Radius of the salami = 9.9 cm

    Explanation:

    The formula for calculating the radius is given below:

    a = v^2/r

    where a represents acceleration

    v represents velocity

    r represents radius

    As hungry mouse ran around the salami's circumference with a tangential speed of 0.17 m/s so that means velocity = 0.17 m/s.

    The centripetal acceleration of the mouse = 0.29 m/s^2

    putting these values in the above formula, we get

    0.29 = 0.17^2 / r

    After rearranging, we get,

    r = 0.17^2 / 0.29

    r = 0.099 m

    r = 9.9 cm

    so the radius of the salami = 9.9 cm
