    Centripetal acceleration is the rate of change of tangential velocity. he direction of the centripital acceleration is always inwards along the radius vector of the circular motion. The magnitude of the centripetal acceleration is related to the tangential speed and angular velocity as follows:

    A = v^2 / r

    Where a is the centripetal acceleration

    V is the tangential speed

    R is the radius

    A = (2m/s) ^2 / 2 m

    A = 2 m / s2
