Why is there a bigger difference between the poleward temperature and equatorward temperature makes it more windy?

    The difference between the poleward temperature and equatorward temperature is that wind is affected by air movement which is also affected by air pressure. Temperature affects the air pressure creating a bigger transition of air pressure towards each region and making them windier.
