    Final velocity (v) ² = initial velocity (u) ²+2*acceleration (a) * distance (s)

    u = 0 m/s, s=240m and a=9.8m/s²

    v² = 0² + (2*9.8*240) = 4704

    v=√4707=68.59 m/s

    now use,

    v = u + at where u=0 m/s, v=68.59 m/s, and a = 9.8m/s²

    t = (v-u) / a = 68.59/9.8 = 6.9985 ≈ 7 seconds
