A piano of mass 852 kg is lifted to a height of 3.5 m. How much gravitational potential energy is added to the piano? Acceleration due to gravity is g = 9.8 m/s2.

    Gravitational Potential Energy = Mass*Gravity*Height.

    GPE = 852 * 9.8 * 3.2

    GPE = 26718.72 Newtons.
