You are running a 1m/s and increase your velocity to 2.5m/s in 5s. what is your acceleration?

    Acceleration = (change in speed) / (time for the change)

    Change in speed = (2.5 - 1) = 1.5 m/s

    Time for the change = 5 sec

    Acceleration = (1.5 m/s) / (5 sec) = 0.3 m/s²
