Why does water form a spherical shape on wax paper?

    Surface tension is created by intermolecular forces, specifically hydrogen bonds, between each atom that holds them together in a spherical shape on was paper (it doesn't soak the paper because the water is polar and the wax paper is non polar, so they repel each other)
