How does distance change when the amount of effort force is increased while the amount of work dine remains the same

    Work = Force * Displacement.

    If the Work is the same, and the Force is increased, from the formula above it means the displacement would have to be reduced.

    So the displacement (a distance in a specified direction) would be reduced.
