What does newton's first law predict will happen to a person riding in a car that is moving in circular motion?

    To move in a circle at constant speed, requires a constant net force towards the center (of a circle). Even though the object is moving at constant v, it is accelerating at the direction of net force - towards the center. So Newton's first law predicts that there will be an acceleration (centripetal acceleration).
