    c = Q / (mΔT)

    c - specific heat

    Q - amount of heat

    m - mass

    ΔT - change in temperature

    this comes from the equation Q=mcΔT

    If you are given heat and you have to find specific heat, so you have to use this formula

    i² x r x t = m x s x Δt

    where

    I = current

    R = resistance

    T = time

    M = mass

    S = specific heat

    Δt = change in temperature
