In a full moon the earth is between the sun and moon, but not blocking the sun from the moon (that's a lunar eclipse and only happens sometimes). This means the ground all around you would be illuminated (daytime on the moon). The sun would be illuminating the back of the earth from your perspective and so the earth would appear dark, like a new moon does to us on earth.
