Which is greater:a force of 10N or a force of 5 lbs?

    Well of course firstly we want to turn that 5lbs into a force using this equation:

    Weight (N) = mass (kg) * gravity (m/s^2)

    That equation is called the weight force equation. it is very important

    The number you convert for the pounds to kilograms is 2.2 so to calcuate how many kg are in 5lbs you divide 5 by 2.2 to get 2.27kg

    Then we multiply 2.27kg by 9.81m/s^2 to get 22.30N

    So, now we know that a force of 5lbs is greater than a force of 10N
