What happens to the frequency of the wave if you increase the wavelength, keeping the velocity of the wave constant?

    There isn't any-way to change the wave speed or the propagation speed, unless performed by changing the density of the medium. Increasing the frequency would cause the wavelength to become shorter, which is confirmed with both light and sound. Since the speed slows in a denser material we are allowed to create lenses and prisms.
