An input force of 50. newtons is applied through a distance of 10. meters to a machine with a mechanical advantage of 3. If the work output for the machine is 450 newton · meters and this work is applied through a distance of 3 meters, what is the output force of the machine?

    Mechanical advantage (MA) = output force/input force

    Input force = 50 N

    Work output = force*distance

    force = work output/distance = 450/3 = 150 N. In this case, the output force of machine is 150 N
