A 2000kg car travelling east at 24/ms enters an icy intersection and collides with a 3600kg truck travelling south at 10 m/s. If they become coupled together in the collision, what is their velocity immediately after impact?

    Resultant momentum is 60,000kgm/s

    60,000 = mass of cart and truck x velocity of car and truck

    60,000 = 5600 x V

    V = 10.71428571 m/s
