A force of 300 N is used to move a chair a distance of 2 m. How much work is done?

    It depends on the angle between the force and the displacement.

    Assume the angle is α

    Then W = 300 * 2 * cosα = 600 cosα J

    If you horizontally push the block on a flat plane, then α = 0, then W = 600 J
