How long must a simple pendulum be if it is to make exactly one swing per six seconds? (that is, one complete oscillation takes exactly 12 s.) ?

    T = (2PI/√g) * √ℓ = 2.0√ℓ

    ℓ = T^2/4 = 144/4 = 36 m approx.
