Hiroto needs to record the volume of liquid in a graduated cylinder. He holds the graduated cylinder up at eye level, but it is slightly tilted. Hiroto records the volume as 32 mL. The actual volume is 30 mL. What type of error did Hiroto make? What will be the effect of this error?

    Hiroto didn't use the graduated cylinder properly. He should have read the volume while the graduated cylinder was sitting on an flat, leveled surface. This is a systematic error that will lead to poor accuracy.
