A car with a mass of 600 kg is traveling at a velocity of 10 m/s. How much kinetic energy does it have?

    Kinetic energy (KE) = 1/2 * mass*sqr. speed = > KE = 1/2*m*v^2

    Given, m = 600 kg, v = 10 m/s

    Therefore,

    KE = 1/2*600*10^2 = 30,000 J = 30 kJ
