The reason why the greenhouse effect exists is due to the contamination of the environment produced by burning fossil fuels and deforestation. Is this statement true or false? Name reasons in order to support your position.

    True the greenhouse effect is actually a result of added carbon dioxide to the earths atmosphere. carbon dioxide holds heat so as more carbon dioxide is added the greenhouse effect is increased. Burning fossil fuels and deforestation not only increase atmospheric carbon dioxide but are two of the main causes of increased carbon dioxide.
