Why would your weight be different on the moon than on earth?

    First of all, weight isnt really a measurement of how much "stuff" you are made of, mass is. weight is the amount of force you put on the surface you are standing on. because earth has more mass, it has higher gravity which pulls your feet down harder then on the moon where there is less mass, so less graviy
