A charged particle moving along a direction perpendicular to the plane of a loop of current-carrying wire, and which passes through the loop's center, will experience no magnetic force. The magnetic force is a basic force that is responsible for effects of the action of electric motors and attraction of magnets for iron. The magnetic force is the attraction or repulsion that arises between particles because of their motion. It is also produced by electric currents. Force can be exerted between two electrically charged particles. The same direction of motion of two objects containing electromagnetic charge has a magnetic attraction force between them. It is also one of the four fundamental forces of nature.
