A 1.5 wire carries a 8 A current potential difference of 89 V is applied. What is the resistance of the wire

    We have no idea what the 1.5 means. Fortunately, we don't need it.

    Resistance = voltage / current

    = (89 v) / (8 A) = 11.125 ohms
